Overview

Corvil is looking to expand its test engineering team which is responsible for ensuring the quality of its high performance, real-time analysis products, utilising the latest software and hardware technologies. This team delivers innovative, automated testing solutions to verify the accuracy, performance, functionality, stress, resilience and use case validation of the company’s products.

Applicant

The successful applicant will have 5+ years of recent, professional experience in testing enterprise products based on Linux

Qualification

Third Level Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degree

Required Skills

• Good working knowledge of IP networking protocols and systems
• Detailed understanding of testing methodologies, with relevant experience of system testing
• Strong Linux and Python scripting skills
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
• Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience gained in testing applications/systems in a capital markets networking environment
• Experience in writing automated test suites for web applications (JavaScript, HTML, Adobe FLEX, XML) using Selenium and RIATest
• Experience with trading protocols such as FIX
• Cisco CCNP certification or familiarity with the configuration of Cisco devices
