Anita – Logistics Manager

Anita – Logistics Manager

I joined Corvil in 2005 with the goal of bringing my 15 years experience in the Global Supply Chain to the fore as Logistics Manager. Having worked in large technology companies such as ATI Technology, Creative Labs, Lotus Development and Solectron; I welcomed the challenge of working in an up and coming new company. In my various roles I managed optimum global freight movement, freight budgets and analysis, people management, customer handling, project implementation and external communications with industry partners in a multi–national environment. In my role at Corvil I work as part of the Operations Team working very closely with Sales, Sales Engineering, the Engineering Team, Customers and various third party suppliers. The role has given me the opportunity to demonstrate my experience and skills, which I feel will increase the competitiveness of the company and be part of a successful team.

Brian – Latency Algorithms

Brian – Latency Algorithms

I joined Corvil to work on the development of algorithms for analysing the interaction between network traffic, queuing systems and latency. Our aim is to provide highly granular, real-time monitoring and supply network managers with information to help them manage latency. My role involves understanding the traffic management features of networking equipment used by our customers and the impact on the latency, loss and jitter experienced by the traffic. Based on this information, I prototype, test and optimise new algorithms that will power new latency management products and features from Corvil.

David – Director Development Engineering

David – Director Development Engineering

I joined the development team at Corvil early in 2006. Corvil has a vibrant and enormously talented development engineering team and it is my responsibility to lead that team as we consistently deliver the very best of quality and innovation to our customers. We constantly seek ways to improve how and what we do using the latest hardware and the very best software development techniques. Building world–class network monitoring tools giving unique visibility into some of the world’s most complex networks is exciting, rewarding and always fulfilling.

Ian – Network Science

Ian – Network Science

Raymond Russell, Fergal Toomey and I are three of the original company founders (including the late Professor John Lewis) who set up Corvil to answer the question of how to provision bandwidth and QoS to ensure very granular service level compliance. We want to build the world-leading company that allows customers to manage latency in their network infrastructure. To achieve this goal we use our collective knowledge of the complexities of high performance/low-latency applications, network traffic, QoS and queuing. My role is to bring an understanding of network, software and hardware behaviours into the design of Corvil’s products so that we build a flexible and scalable platform that addresses end-user needs.

Ken – Product Definition

Ken – Product Definition

I joined Corvil with the goal to deliver a product that finally meets the requirements for monitoring high performance, low-latency applications. I continue to meet users that are frustrated with the lack of products that can provide the real-time performance and analytical requirements needed to manage their network infrastructure to successfully deliver these applications. My role is to ensure that the unique insight of our experts is combined with the user’s voice to deliver truly innovative products. Listening to the user’s voice is particularly important to ensure that our product delivers value from the first day of service.
