Latency Troubleshooting

Provides forensics and automated workflows for rapid troubleshooting and resolution of latency issues at both the application and network layers

CorvilNet measures microsecond latency, jitter, and loss for both the trading applications and the trading network. The system also monitors application and traffic microbursts at ultra-short timescales. These capabilities uniquely enable CorvilNet to correlate application latency with network latency and microbursts to identify both the potential cause and resolution of latency issues. For example, both order execution response time latency and TCP roundtrip latency are reported for trading connections to isolate latency issues in the trading gateway versus the network connection. CorvilNet stores the per-packet and per-application message performance measurements for later inspection using the system’s drill-down GUI to access the Smart Packet Capture data for root-cause analysis.
