We had a fantastic night this past week at our annual UserGroup Canada event. The Blue Jays were nice enough to take an early lead on the Texas Rangers, putting attendees in a great mood for our presentation.
I was proud to introduce the Corvil update to 9.1.1, the new Corvil 8400, and the new Splunk app for Carbon Black integration. On the integration and customization side, I had some great discussions about further steps we could make to our widgets for the dashboards, and some other question just how much Corvil could help in real-time, using order flow or market data alongside other streaming data.
All the updates were very well-received, and there were some great questions on Splunk and some great excitement about the 8400. A quick reminder of what’s under the hood of the 8400:
80Gbps full line rate bursts on all ports
60Gbps sustained L2-L7 analysis for HTTP
240TB effective data storage with compression
It is truly a powerful tool, and we got some great comments on what a “beast” this appliance is. So, thank you!
